With Jina in town this weekend we had a packed schedule and experienced more of the area. I am crossing my fingers that I get used to the elevation and mountainous terrain. Here is a pic of Jina, Jacey and I.
Saturday we ventured to Park City, UT for the Arts Festival. There were some great booths with all kinds of different art...but I have to say it was more fun to people watch. Lots of unique, interesting individuals that ventured out to the artsy community. I would love to head back for the shops that are perminantly located there...wouldn't mind checking out the places to eat that have balcony seating either.
Saturday night Brandon and I were able to celebrate our 7th anniversary by going out to eat with Jacey, Briley, Jina and Dave...Thanks Karen and Marv for watching the girls!!!
Sunday we were back to the adventures...we were ready to head out for a nice 2 mile hike!! Except it turned into a 6 mile hike because we didn't want to wait for the shuttle to take us up to the trail head. I was a little nervous right off the bat because I was car sick from drive up the mountain and out of breath in the first quarter of a mile...again I am hoping once I am used to living in the mountains at this elevation I won't be so effected by it all. Once we got into it though we all had a great time and the view was unlike anything you could describe...so luckily I got some unbelievable photos!!! Bailey, Ava and Kaylinn rocked the hike...Bailey and Ava hiked the whole way and Kaylinn had to be carried most of the way...hoping she is getting closer to hiking more and more each time we go out. After the hike we came home to pool time and a great family dinner.
Very excited to continue exploring the area and can't wait for Meme and Boppa's visit this week!!! Still lots to see and do here that is for sure!! Feeling very blessed at how smoothly the transition is going thus far...closing on the Sioux Falls home this week and the NEW Sandy home next week.
