We had the Sharpings over last Saturday to grill out and sit on our "patio"...which is our driveway for now. We had so much fun and the girls entertained us on their bikes till about 10:30!!!
Then on Monday Bailey and Ava started school...they were very excited!!! I was a little nervous because I wanted them both to have a great first day...which sets the tone for the rest of the year!!! Made sure they felt special with just a few new things to wear...new backpacks and matching lunch boxes. I only shed a few tears but mostly because I was so proud of them for being so brave and excited for something that could have easily been scary.
Of course when I picked them up I was greeted by smiling faces and tons of stories of how great their teachers were and of all the friends they had made...RELIEF!!
Needless to say as the end of the week approached I had some very tired turtles on my hands...oh how I love school!!! Again feeling extremely blessed that the transition continues to have so many positive results!!
