We arrived at Mountain Side Resort and were thrilled at every turn with how great it was. Underground parking, family room, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, girls' room included king size bed(all three slept in it), kitchenette and bathroom, our room included king size bed, huge jacuzzi tub and bathroom. So much space it was AWESOME!!! We spoiled the girls at every turn; including kiddie margaritas and chocolate covered marshmallows dipped in sprinkles.
We woke up early Monday morning and were eating pancakes in our hotel room by 7:30am. Checked out by 10am and were hitting the slopes by 10:30am. Park City had a fantastic bunny hill/1st timer area for the girls. Brandon and I would trade back and forth...one would go up lift with Bailey and the other would stay with Ava and Kaylinn on the bunny hill. It was so fun to see the girls improve throughout the day. It was pretty cold at the top of the mountain so Ava and Kaylinn were happy to stay on bunny hill all day!!! I could barely get Kaylinn to take her skis off. We lasted longer than I thought we would due to the cold temperatures...but we didn't have to endure the SD wind with cold temperatures so it was much more pleasant. I am so excited to check out all the other ski resorts that Utah has to offer!!!
We had the perfect ending with a peaceful drive down the mountain because all three girls were wiped out and slept the whole way home.
We have some other super fun things planned for the rest of January and into February...can't wait to continue to share all the fun we are having during this time in our lives!!!
