Ava and Kaylinn share the same birthday and as of right now they LOVE it...we will see what happens as they get older. They of course chose a princess theme and had me working hard at my sewing machine to get some princess dresses made...Merida(from Brave) and Princess Aurora(from Sleeping Beauty) for Ava...Cinderella and Princess Aurora for Kaylinn. I have made cakes for the girls since their 1st birthdays, except for last year, they each chose a princess and I did my best to re-create them. We were blessed to have quite a few friends and family members in town to make their celebration special...Jan, Xander, Jina, Jacey, Briley, Ryan, Lindsey...because of the fabulous technology we have at our finger tips I was able to catch video for those that weren't able to celebrate with us this year.
Here are some pics that I got...once the party starts I am on auto pilot and miss photo ops. So many of these were taken before the guests arrived.
Once the birthday party was a wrap it was time to change focus to Baby Sharping's shower. What a fun time...great theme...Oh the Places You'll Go!! Great food, decorations and family time!! We captured lots of on the go photos and family photos. Seeing all the teeny, tiny stuff makes me VERY excited to meet this little guy or gal. I am sure that is even more true for the soon to be mommy and daddy...they will be the best!!
