the countdown begins...

So like I have mentioned before once the decision was made things moved very quickly...like Brandon leaving to Utah and starting his "new" job.  It was very exciting yet very scary and sad at the same time.  I was going to have to do it ALL on my own!!!  Brandon left right before Easter (April 4) and we didn't see him until May 17.

Lucky for me it was the end of the school year and the time flew...HA who am I kidding the time went fast but I definitely had to step up to the plate.  Some days went exactly as planned and others did not.  It isn't a time I would want to repeat.

One of my favorite moments is when Brandon sent a picture of himself at work and I showed the girls.  Ava ripped it out of my hands and started kissing it and telling "him" how much she loved him and missed him.  Then Kaylinn had to do the same thing.  The girls have been troopers...we have had moments of testing the boundaries...and many melt downs but we always end up having a good time and working through all the rough spots.

On Brandon's first visit home we filled it with lots of time together...swimming, gymnastics, my brother's softball games, celebration for Bailey's gymnastics and Kaylinn learning to pedal her "big girl" bike!!!  We are very excited to do more and more things as a family and cherish and celebrate all that our girls accomplish!
