Once the decision was made to move we had to make things happen quickly because we only had so many free weekends before Brandon was headed out to Sandy to start working...and lets be honest there was one free weekend. Thanks to Meme and Boppa (my mom and dad) we had a place for the girls to stay while Brandon and I set out on our house finding mission!! This was no easy task considering they had activities, school and birthday parties to go to on those days. Plus Meme and Boppa had tons of fun things planned for them as well.
We landed in Salt Lake City and by 1pm we were off with the realtor. It was a ROUGH start to say the least...luckily our realtor had her own plan in mind in addition to ours. We went through about 6 homes and NOTHING was even close to what we were looking for...it was very discouraging since we were working our butts off to get our house in tip top shape...we even had people working on it while we were gone. THANKS Chad!! In the end she took us to the neighborhood that Jacey and Briley were moving into...and we fell in LOVE!!! By the end of the weekend we had a deal signed and were excited soon to be home owners in Sandy, Utah.
The house is currently in the process of being built...with an estimated finish date of August 9.
MAIN GOAL...sell home in Sioux Falls, SD...I have decided to live life as an adventure and have FAITH that all will happen as it is suppose to!!!
Cheers to many more adventures in our future!!!
You should visit the Church History Museum in SLC with Meme and Boppa - they'll surely like it. It's near Temple Square, if I'm not mistaken. My niece and I went on a tour there last year. By the way, which one among those two houses in the last picture you fell in love with, Jann?
