adVEntURE # 8...St. George, UT

St. George, UT is 4 hours south of Sandy, UT and Brandon's sister Amy and husband Andy just happen to live there...it also happens to be home to quite a few spa resorts...it is also only 30 minutes away from Zions National park which has fun camping and hiking areas.

Brandon and I were really looking for a time to get away and have some time to ourselves after a year of 4 months apart, buying/selling houses, moving across the country, job changes, school changes and so many more things to list...but I won't. :) Amy had offered to watch the girls for us, so we decided to take her up on it.  We were able to find a weekend that worked with Amy and Andy and Brandon's work schedule. YAY!!!  Then I had the green light and found a great resort...Green Valley Spa and Resort. We headed out on a Saturday morning and arrived in St. George by lunch time, since Brandon and I didn't check in till 4 we had a few hours to spend hanging out.  Brandon's parents, other sister(Christy) and nephews were also in St. George to greet us when we got there.

The spa is exactly what I needed...100% relaxation!!!  After leaving the resort the next morning we once again chilled at Amy and Andy's, played at the park, had YUMMY lunch and then on the road again around 4 to get home for bed time.  It was a great weekend and we can't wait to check out more of southern Utah.
