Showing off more jenn.d DESIGN product...burp cloth sets

I thought I better feature something other than my lovely diaper caddy's...so why not the burp cloth sets...many have matching diaper caddy's!!!  Hence the coupon code CADDYBURPCLOTH...combine any diaper caddy with any burp cloth set and SAVE 10%.  I have done my best in the shop, jenn.d DESIGN, to link the diaper caddy's and burp cloth sets to their corresponding match...however the code allows you to pair ANY caddy with ANY burp cloth set. I have been hard at work this past week finishing up some ideas I have had brewing in my mind for awhile...#1 getting to a place where I could offer MATCHING diaper caddy's and burp cloth sets...nothing more fun than a complete nursery look!!! AND #2 offering some Summer EXCLUSIVE prints...cutest floral prints EVER!!!  I am happy to report that both happened this past week and are ALL available in my shop, jenn.d DESIGN.  I have quite a few more goals for my shop in the month of June so as I was finishing up this weeks to do list next weeks was already brewing.  LOL!!!  No worries I will be taking MOST of the weekend off to celebrate my amazing hubby and father to our 3 beautiful "babies". (don't tell them I called them that...it can be our little secret)

I am in the production stages of an adult apron that will match with the children's!!  (***in the next couple of months I will also be adding a doll size apron...EEEK!!***)  And I will soon be adding a polka dot collection of matching diaper caddy's and burp cloth sets...I know you see polka dots A LOT...I LOVE them...they aren't going anywhere!!!

feature friday with jenn.d DESIGN

With my first cha-ching coming from my 2 piece burp cloth sets I thought my 1st feature Friday would start there... The burp cloth sets are constructed using 2 layers of 100% cotton flannel and trimmed with a coordinating color of rick rack...each set is a combination of 3 fabrics. A little hint to where I want all this to go...I want to have coordinating burp cloths, diaper caddy's and changing pads?!?!  Yes I am hard at work on this cohesive look at the moment.  I am also working VERY hard at having many options for boys, girls and unisex...it is so hard for me not to snag every cute "girly" fabric...due to my 3 beauties at home!! So here is a look at the 4 looks that I have at the moment...like I said more to come...they are all so cute!!!

I have to say I wish I had a baby on the way..oh wait I have plenty of friends expecting...this will definitely be a "go to" gift for me.  These will make a great gift for any baby's nursery OR diaper bag...a mom can never have too many burp cloths!!  Plus with the reinforcement of having 2 layers of flannel these will be easy to care for and up for the task of cleaning up any mess.

Like I said my first cha-ching came from these cute little duos...so I thought I would also share how cute they look all ready to head to their new home!!

And here is a sneak peak of other fabrics that will be making an appearance in the near future...can't wait to show off cohesive sets with all these adorable prints!!!  Yes I will be adding more "boy" and "unisex" styles...like I said I am a household of all girls...so it is time to shop outside my comfort zone!!!

I had a "BIG" week so to speak for me...so I am mostly gonna give the highlights & of course tons of pics. I am super excited to announce that my Etsy site jennd. DESIGN went live on Friday April 11th.   

I have been thinking of opening an Etsy site for awhile...like over a year...then in January of this year I made the decision I was going for it.  I updated my blog look...thank you Jana Tolman Design.  I got to work on a name and logo...thank you to my brother, Lance, with Innovative Designs.  And of course started brain storming what creative route I would take...and I decided on my love of sewing...it helps that I am in love with my sewing machine given to me by my grandma, thanks Grandma Rosy...a 1974 Singer...#vintage!!  Oh and fabric shopping may be one of my favorite things on the planet!!!  Thank you to my sister, Ang, for being a great fabric consultant!

Then to top off the week I had my first sale...#chaching!!!

My days are spent at the sewing machine and I can't wait to add more items to my shop.  I plan to start feature Friday's{tomorrow} on the blog to showcase what I have in the shop and what is to come!!!  Again what a great week!

ME & my CrafTY sELF

Some of my favorite things to do now that I am staying at home...knitting, crocheting, sewing...ANY type of craft really!!!  I thought I would showcase some of the items I have been working on lately...I stay quite busy.  Pinterest keeps the ideas flowing...and YouTube allows me make them happen with ALL the tutorials they have.  :)

ABOVE & BELOW:  Ear warmers (crochet)...I bought the pattern for these almost 2 years ago...finally got to them this winter and they are a HIT!!!

ABOVE & BELOW:  Me doing a wicked witch of the west thing with my slippers and socks...haha!!  and trying lots of slipper patterns for the girlies!!  Found one that looks like little elf shoes...perfect for this time of year.
